As you all likely know, I’m a huge Jim Butcher fan. It’s honestly amazing I haven’t read this one before – but this was a fantastic view into the growth of Harry Dresden in a quick and connected trio of short stories.

If you haven’t read the Dresden Files series, you’ll still be able to get along through these ones okay; however, there are some fun references you might miss. Butcher’s explanations (or perhaps theories) behind the ability of Bigfoots (the species) to hide despite mass pursuit.

All in all – a wonderful work by a well-established author.
